Dear Sir Leopoul Jeck U. Valiente,
Thank you for your guidance, patience, and dedication throughout this school year. This portfolio reflects my journey in Math, from my struggles in the early quarters to my improvements and achievements in the later ones.
In Quarter 1, I experienced both success and challenges. I was able to get a perfect score by carefully analyzing questions and observing details like positive and negative signs. However, I also faced difficulties in choosing the correct formula and sometimes made mistakes due to overthinking and lack of clarity. There were also times when I struggled to read the questions properly because they were handwritten on the TV, and due to my nearsighted vision, it was difficult to see clearly.
In Quarter 2, I became more consistent in my assignments and improved my ability to analyze math problems. However, this quarter was the most challenging for me, especially in quizzes and exams. I had difficulty memorizing and understanding the theorems of tangent, secant, and Rolle’s theorem. I often got confused about what formula to use, which affected my scores. Despite this, your explanations helped me gain clarity and understand my mistakes.
In Quarter 3, I showed significant improvement. I found the topics like permutation and combination more understandable because the formulas, rules, and logic were easier to remember. This helped me achieve perfect scores in both quizzes and assignments. Although I still experienced some confusion in certain questions, I was able to overcome it by analyzing the problems more carefully.
In Quarter 4, I found the lessons a bit easier compared to the previous quarters. Topics like frequency distribution, mean, and median became easier for me because I understood the process and logic behind them. I was able to maintain perfect scores, which shows my improvement and better understanding of Math.
Overall, this school year helped me realize my strengths and weaknesses. I learned that my main challenge is choosing and remembering the correct formulas, but I also learned that with practice, analysis, and guidance, I can improve. Your teaching helped me build confidence, think more clearly, and continue striving for better performance.
Thank you for your support, for giving me clarity when I was confused, and for inspiring me to keep improving. I will continue to work hard and apply everything I have learned.
Sincerely,
Jerome Jamis
